#GiveMe5

There is another chance for Cannington in Bloom to receive free money! Yippee!

The Local Giving website has announced it is taking part in the global day of giving known as #GivingTuesday on 1st December 2015. The campaign starts at midnight and runs for 24 hours, with each £5 donation being entered into a drawer to receive match funding.

The Localgiving website  says: “After the sales of Black Friday and the online shopping boom on Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday is an opportunity to come together to show the world why it’s good to give.

Whether it’s making a donation, volunteering your time or just spreading the word at the start of the Christmas shopping season, #GivingTuesday is a call to action for everyone who wants to give something back.”

We appreciate that times are hard for many people and there are many worthy causes in the local area and the wider world, that people can support with their hard-earned cash. However if you missed out on donating to Cannington in Bloom through the ‘Grow your Tenner’ campaign or want to contribute to improving your local environment then please consider donating to us on Tuesday 1st December 2015.

Thank you very much in advance ….

The barrier baskets that adorned Jubilee Gardens in 2015. Thanks to Fiona Stanley and the Brymore boys. Thanks also to those who watered and dead headed relentlessly so they put on a stunning display for months!
